I QUIT COFFEE
Kicking it up a notch is helpful from time to time. When I realized how hard I was fighting every day to get ENOUGH coffee to kep me going, but enough water to compensate for the dehydrating effect of coffee, I made a choice. I QUIT. Cold turkey (or cold coffee), went to green tea only if I need a little boost. (Translation: in the first few days I was off coffee I went through no less than 10 tea bags a day) Already I feel better, less up-and-down energy levels, and hydration hasn’t been an issue this week. I do miss my coffee,but mostly as a vehicle for my sugar addiction. The research is all conflicting about whether coffee is healthy or horrible, but I just figured it was time to try something radical, and see what happens. So far, so good. That’s all.
